No it’s not. It’s your responsibility to start the process of renewal 60 days before your TIE card expires or you can proceed up to 90 days after it expires. If you pass those 90 days the system won’t let us submit your application.
You can submit it online with your digital signature, through a lawyer or through the post office – we don´t recommend this option as it get´s lost in most of the cases. We recommend submitting it online through a representative.
